Dr. Kimberly McCreedy is an Oregon native and graduate of Iowa State University’s DVM class of 2010. She spent seven weeks of her senior clinical rotations in Alaska working with and learning about sled dogs and racing. After graduation, Kimberly realized that working as a relief veterinarian would allow her to fulfill her career goal working with sled dogs.
Dr. McCreedy lives in the Portland, Oregon area and began practicing as a relief veterinarian in 2014. She has volunteered for five Iditarod Sled Dog Races. In her spare time, Dr. McCreedy enjoys backpacking, snowshoeing, reading, road trips, and friends. The Eagle Cap Wilderness is by far Dr. McCreedy’s favorite place to go backpacking. She is looking forward to visiting in the winter and working with the Eagle Cap Extreme family!
